Our Story

Since graduating from agricultural college I have farmed the land which has passed down through four generations of my family. During this time I have been tillage farming, growing a variety of crops such as barley, wheat, oats and oil seed rape. The rich fertile soil and favourable climate in this area lends itself well to a high quality harvest.  read more…

Tilling & Harvesting

In order to reduce our carbon footprint, just one machine is required to establish our oilseed rape. An eco-till machine drills the seed directly into the ground without the need for ploughing, seed is sown at approximately 50 seeds per square metre. read more…

Processing

The moisture content of the seed has to be reduced to approx. 6-8 %, which is obtained by using a dryer. This moisture percentage is necessary for the storage of the seed for several months and especially for the subsequent optimal pressing of the seed.  read more…
